What is Koble?

Koble (from the Norwegian word meaning “to connect”) is a practical resource designed to equip churches for mission in their own unique context. We live in both challenging and exciting times. Most people in the UK are not actively engaged with church or the Christian faith. Yet responses to faith are varied—many are searching and curious, while others remain indifferent, disinterested, or resistant.

Built around the 10 Ds of Mission and Growth, Koble equips churches to connect with people at every stage of their journey, recognising that alongside more traditional approaches, mission today often requires a different starting point. Each session creates space to engage with Scripture and missional reflection, share honest conversation, pray together, and take simple, practical steps into everyday mission.

Over time, this simple rhythm helps move mission from something we talk about to something we live—creating more opportunities for others to explore the Christian story.

A versatile, real-life toolkit, Koble equips both churches and individual Christians for everyday mission.

The Study Guide

Koble consists of three key resources: the Study Guide, the Koble website, and the Leaders’ Guide. Together, they form the core materials needed to run Koble effectively.

The Koble Study Guide contains the core content of the journey and is the primary resource for both individuals and groups. It guides participants through each of the 10 Ds, including teaching, Scripture, activities, discussion questions, practical exercises, and space for reflection. It also includes an introduction to Koble, guidance on how to use the sessions, and information about additional online resources.

Each participant (including leaders) is encouraged to have their own copy.

Available in both print and digital formats, the Study Guide is designed as the ideal companion to Koble, bringing everything together in one place and allowing it to be revisited over time for ongoing reflection and growth.
